How to Choose an ERP or Accounting Software for GST InvoiceNow
By ZenMatrix · 31 October 2026
Every GST-registered business in Singapore will need software that can submit invoice data to IRAS over the InvoiceNow network. Use these questions with any vendor — including us. For the full timeline, see our GST InvoiceNow guide.
1. Compliance
- Is the software on IMDA's list of accredited InvoiceNow-Ready Solutions? IRAS requires GST-registered businesses to submit invoice data using these solutions. If it is not accredited yet, ask when it is expected.
- Will the vendor (or its Access Point provider) register your business in the SG Peppol Directory with your UEN?
- Can it both send and receive Peppol e-invoices, not only submit data to IRAS?
- Do invoices follow the PINT-SG format?
- Do you also trade in Malaysia? If so, does it support LHDN's MyInvois e-Invoice as well?
2. Timing
- When is your own GST InvoiceNow implementation date? It ranges from 1 Nov 2025 to 1 Apr 2031 depending on your registration and annual supplies.
- How long does onboarding take, and can you go live before your deadline? IRAS encourages businesses to onboard early.
3. Fit for your business
- Which modules do you actually need — accounting only, or also inventory, sales, purchasing, HR and payroll?
- Can your existing data (customers, suppliers, items, opening balances) be migrated, and who does it?
- How do staff enter transactions day to day? Some systems, including ZenERP, let staff work from chat apps like WhatsApp instead of desktop screens.
4. Cost and support
- What is the full cost: subscription, per-user fees, Peppol / Access Point transaction fees, setup and migration?
- Are there Free-of-Charge solution packages you qualify for? IRAS publishes a list for GST-registered businesses.
- Who supports you locally if invoice submission fails close to a filing deadline?
